The Small wins matter too!

Updated: Aug 21

This week’s post is different!

We are celebrating the little details that make us happy. The achievements that go far beyond a simple "goal of treatment". We are recognizing the small but mighty changes that make life easier and that help families like yours thrive.

We’ve been working with families all over the world with our different online programs. Each culture is unique with its customs and traditions, but something common to every parent, all over the globe, is their willingness to do their best to help their children.

This mom, from Uganda, is not different. She has been doing WeFlow with her daughter (who has cerebral palsy, spastic quadriplegia) for almost two years now, following our gentle fascia routines and implementing our ideas to play. They have been doing weflow therapy for nearly two hours every weekday.

And recently she shared this with us this:

This was not a goal we had set. This ability emerged gradually. When we are working with WeFlow we are not really thinking about goals or milestones. We are boosting the mechanisms that support the child’s overall development. It is a systemic approach, so we see the body as a whole. We are helping organize the child’s body, creating room for the movements to happen, so the child can reach their maximum potential.

Her mom can back carry her now! And we celebrate it.

WeFlow’s tip for you

Don’t wait for big milestones and achievements to celebrate. Every little detail counts and it is a reason to be happy.
