Worried about your child’s posture?

Updated: Aug 21

Are you worried about your child’s posture?

At WeFlow we understand the posture is the reflection of what is happening with the tensional system (the jello). When the fascial system has the right balance between tension and compression, the child has a “symmetrical and aligned posture”.

We have explained this in the past (read this post). There are many factors involved in what creates the right balance in the tensegrity structure, but what we see, in most kids, is that the fascial system is collapsed.

In this short video, we explain this concept and we teach you a test you can do to check what is happening with your child.

With the fascia remodeling techniques you learn with WeFlow you can strengthen your child’s tensional system (not the muscles, but the fascia) to improve your child’s posture.

In our next post, we will share with you some “before and after” pictures of some of the children whose parents are doing this fascia therapy with them.

To start doing fascia therapy with your child, learn the first exercise to improve torso control here.

WeFlow´s tip for you!

Working your child’s fascia will improve their posture, but while the fascia does its magic, you can support your child’s torso by placing a partially deflated ball in front of the belly.
