How is this therapy done?

Updated: Jul 19

WeFlow teaches parents or caregivers gentle routines to work on their child’s fascia.

These routines are passive, meaning you are working on your child while they rest or relax. Many parents work while their kids nap or sleep at night. Most kids love this therapy as it feels good, it is gentle and they get to watch their favorite tv show while their parents work.

We also share what we call “Ideas to Play” where we modify the activities your child does to use them as an opportunity to stimulate the fascial system. Depending on the child, this might be more active. We will go deeper into these ideas in next week’s post, so stay tuned.

We use soft tools like different balls, little pillows, sponges, foams, sandbags, bandages and wraps, vibrating tools (very soft) and other soft materials to mechanically stimulate the fascial system. You can read more about this here.

You can start working on your child’s fascia and try this gentle approach today.

WeFlow´s tip for you!

Adding sponges on your child’s seat will help to push fluids inside your child’s body and feed the fascia with nutrients.
